"You don't need God -- to hope, to care, to love, to live"
It looks like the CFI has chosen Indianapolis as the location of a new billboard campaign, which will place billboards around I-465. The billboards will attempt to dispel myths about the non-religious and promote a positive message. Given how conservative Indiana is on the whole, this campaign will undoubtedly turn some heads and make some people upset. The article I’ve linked here quotes one man as saying that it’s “a crying shame for the religious world…. Our nation’s supposed to be founded under God and you got people trying to take it away.”
I, for one, am excited that this sort of campaign is coming to Indy. I’ll have to see if some of my people back there can take some pictures of the billboards once they go up.
